Serge Marchand

Founder & Operator | 40+ Years of Excavation Experience

Serge Marchand is the heart behind CTU Earthworks. With over 40 years of hands-on experience in excavation and site development, Serge founded CTU in 2006 with a vision to deliver honest, high-quality work backed by real expertise. Originally from Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, Serge brings a lifetime of industry knowledge and a strong work ethic to every job site.

When he's not operating machinery or managing projects, you’ll likely find Serge out on the golf course, casting a line, or spending quality time with family. His passion for the trade and dedication to the community have helped make CTU Earthworks a trusted name throughout the region.

Nic Marchand

Project Manager

Nic Marchand has been a key part of CTU Earthworks since 2016. Originally from Ayr, Ontario, Nic brings a strong customer-first mindset to every project. His vision for CTU is rooted in understanding what clients truly need and delivering high-quality results that exceed expectations.

With hands-on experience across all of CTU’s services, Nic ensures each project is completed with care, efficiency, and attention to detail. As CTU continues to grow into 2025, his leadership keeps the company moving forward with purpose and professionalism.

Passionate about creating outdoor spaces that connect people to nature, Nic is committed to lasting, functional results. Outside of work, you’ll often find him out on the water fishing, reading, or enjoying time with his family.

Marissa Marchand

Social Media Specialist

Marissa Marchand plays a key role behind the scenes at CTU Earthworks as our Social Media Specialist. From managing our online presence to showcasing projects, Marissa brings creativity, consistency, and a strong brand voice to the company.

While her primary focus is office and digital work, Marissa isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty—she can hop in a dump truck or excavator when needed, showing her adaptability and team-first attitude.

Marissa is orginaly from Brockville, In her free time, she enjoys thrifting for unique finds and spending time outdoors with her dog.

Deb Marchand

Office Manager

Deb Marchand has been with CTU Earthworks since day one, helping to lay the foundation of what the company has become today. As Office Manager, Deb oversees the daily operations that keep the business running smoothly—everything from scheduling to client communication and administrative support.

Originally from Cambridge, Ontario, Deb brings years of experience and a strong sense of organization to the team. Her dedication and attention to detail have made her an essential part of CTU’s ongoing success.

When she’s not managing the office, Deb can be found gardening, enjoying the outdoors, or spending cherished time with her grandchildren.
